This product has a lot of oils. Will it clog my pores?

While the Dark Spot Corrector Cream contains oils of Avocado and Almonds they known to be non-comedogenic, meaning they will not clog pores. However, if you have oily skin, you might prefer to use the spot cream at night when your skin is in repair mode. You can also use spray one of our natural toners ‘Kumkumadi Toner or Rose Toner’ before using the cream to minimize the appearance of pores.

Does this product contain SPF?

The Dark Spot Corrector Cream does not contain SPF. Although ingredients such as Turmeric and Aloe Vera are known for their sun protection properties, we recommend you always use a Sunscreen daily for complete sun protection. Apply sunscreen as the last step in your morning skincare routine, after your Dark Spot Corrector Cream.

I do want a cream to fade my dark spots but I also want to use Retinol for skin brightening. Can I use both?

The Dark Spot Corrector Cream is a gentle formula that focuses on fading spots and making them even toned. It also promotes hydration that makes the skin look more vibrant. Retinol is a powerful ingredient that can also address hyper pigmentation, but it can irritate the skin making it sensitive. It is best to introduce a retinol product slowly into your routine at night. Avoid using the Dark Spot Corrector Cream at night instead use it in the morning if you want to continue using Retinol.

With the Lemon Peel Oil in this cream make it unsuitable for my sensitive skin?

Lemon Peel Oil can be slightly astringent, so a patch test on your inner arm is recommended before using this cream. But being a natural active Lemon Peel does suit most sensitive skins. As with all natural products we highly recommend you do a patch test before starting to use it whatever your skin type.

The description mentions the cream helps with dark circles. Should I apply it directly to my under-eye area?

The Dark Spot Corrector Cream is gentle enough for the under-eye area. Apply a very small amount, patting it gently into the skin. Be sure to avoid direct contact with your eyes.

This cream sounds hydrating, but do I still need a separate moisturiser?

Rich in Avocado Oil, Almond Oil and Argan Oil our Dark Spot Corrector Cream is extremely hydrating and moisturising. However depending on your skin type and the season you can surely top it with an extra layer of your favourite cream or serum.
