Hair fall starts at the scalp
Most hair products treat the strand. The strand is already dead. What is alive is the follicle, and it sits in skin that gets clogged, flaky and starved of circulation like any other skin does.
This is a scalp treatment that happens to be an oil. You massage it in, leave it to work, and wash it out. The massage matters as much as the oil: it is what moves blood to the follicle.

Onion seed oil and onion extract: sulphur-rich, the reason this category exists
Fenugreek (methi) seed extract: traditionally used for fall and thinning
Black seed (kalonji) oil: traditionally used for scalp comfort
Curry leaf extract: a traditional Indian remedy for hair
Tea tree and neem oil: for flaking and scalp build-up
The carriers
Coconut, jojoba, amla, hibiscus and pumpkin seed oils, with basil and ginger root extract. No mineral oil, no toxins.
When this isn't the right product
Pattern baldness and hormonal hair loss need a doctor. A scalp oil can support the hair you still have; it will not regrow a receded hairline, and we would rather say so.
If your fall started suddenly after illness, childbirth, surgery or a crash diet, that is usually telogen effluvium and it often resolves on its own. Worth getting checked before spending on anything.
This contains tea tree and neem. Patch test behind your ear first if your scalp reacts easily, and keep it away from the eyes.
It is a pre-wash treatment. Do not leave it in as a styling oil.

Hair grows about a centimetre a month, and sheds on a cycle you cannot rush. Nothing applied to the scalp changes that timetable.
